Build 15 Cometh

Here's a little preview of build 15, which is in the works.

After various festivities tomorrow, I'll be devoting the majority of the weekend to SMEE. Expect another rapid sequence of updates during this glorious four day weekend!

More Tools & Icons

Professional icons are expensive. Damn expensive! So if you've ever used GIMP before, you'll recognize the ones I settled on. They're not half bad either. The only three misfits are the zoom buttons and the open hand, which are all ripped from Adobe Acrobat. The zoom rips are rather poor, but they'll do for now!

There are also new eraser and dropper tools for deleting tiles and picking up the current tile under the cursor. And of course buttons were added for triggering undo and redo.

Tile Selections

The Selections panel in the lower left displays the current left, middle, and right tiles, which are bound to mouse buttons. You can hover over the panel and mousewheel to rotate the slots up and down. In the tile selector on the right, animating dashed outlines also indicate your current selections.

You can also hold down CTRL while mousewheeling and rotate the left tile, hold down CTRL+ALT for the right tile, and CTRL+ALT+SHIFT for the middle tile. Scary. But I'm on a mousewheel kick!

Layer Manager

Now when you drag a layer in the layer menu, the grip icon appears. You can also mousewheel up and down to change the current layer. Holding CTRL down while mousehweeling will move the currently selected layer up and down, as an alternative to dragging.

Smart Refresh Fixed

I finally realized the error of my ways! The patchy refresh for fast plots is now resolved. That being the case, I removed the menu item for selecting Fast versus Accurate rendering.

Undo

The newest addition to undo includes layer reordering as part of the undo history. Wow!
